Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Level006 app (“Level006”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it and the choices you have. Level006 is operated by Rostyslav Lesko.

1. Information we collect

• Account: when you sign in with Apple we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address (which may be an Apple private relay address).
• Profile you enter: age, height, weight, goal weight and activity level. We use them to choose your workout course and calculate your calorie target.
• “Before” photos (optional): photos you choose to add to track your progress. They are stored privately, visible only to you in the app, never shown to our team, never sent to AI and never shared.
• Activity in the app: workouts started and completed, sets, changes to your workload, workout ratings and comments, body measurements, weight entries, food diary entries.
• AI features (only if you allow them): photos of meals you take for calorie counting, text descriptions of what you ate, and messages to the AI chef.
• Device and technical data: a random install identifier created by the app, push notification token (if you allow notifications), app version, language, time zone and IP address in server logs.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts or health records from Apple Health.

1a. Ad measurement (Meta)

The app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure which of our ads lead to installs, sign-ups and free trials. If you allow tracking in the iPhone “Allow app to track your activity?” prompt, Meta may receive your device’s advertising identifier together with these app events. If you don’t allow it, Meta receives only limited event data through Apple’s privacy-preserving attribution, without your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. We never send your name, email, photos, measurements or food diary to Meta.

2. How we use information

• To provide the service: your workout plan, progress, calorie target, food diary and AI features.
• To send notifications you allowed: workout reminders, weekly check-ins, free day and access reminders. Promotional notifications are sent only if you turn them on in Settings.
• To understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example, how many people start a free day) and improve it.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

3. AI processing

If you allow AI features, your meal photos, food descriptions and chef messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to generate calorie estimates and meal suggestions. They are sent without your name or email. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf and does not use it to train its models under our commercial terms. You can turn AI features off at any time in Settings → AI features.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service: Hostinger (hosting and database), Cloudflare (network security and delivery), Apple (Sign in with Apple, push notifications), Anthropic (AI features, if allowed) and Meta (ad measurement, as described above). We do not sell or rent your personal information. Sharing app events with Meta for ad measurement may be considered “sharing” under some US state laws; you can opt out by not allowing tracking or turning it off in iPhone Settings.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, workouts, ratings, measurements, “before” photos, food diary, AI chef chats, notifications and push tokens. Aggregate statistics that do not identify you may be kept. Server backups are overwritten within 14 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). To make a request, email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Age requirement

Level006 is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data is transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our systems is restricted and protected. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
